Here it is your first chance to see the finished A Christmas Snow Novel written by best-selling author Jim Stovall. We are honored to have Jim pen the novelization of our film and it is with great pleasure that we share the first look with you! We are also happy to share that the A Christmas Snow Novel will be available earlier than expected through Barnes & Noble stores nationwide.

You’ll be able to pick up your own copy of the A Christmas Snow Novel from the front table of any Barnes & Noble store starting September 7th. The Novel will be featured on the front table at Barnes & Noble for the month of September before moving to the Holiday and Inspirational sections.

Not only did the story contained in the book turn out fantastic, but you really need to make a point to pick this book up in your own hands as our publisher Destiny Image did a terrific job with the production of the book itself. I know I have never before said that a book felt good, but the special satin finish on the Novel really makes you want to hold it and read it, I guess that’s a good thing!

The great thing about the Novel as well is that Jim is able to delve deeper into the characters and story than we were able to in the film, so even if you’ve seen the film, you’ll want to experience the story all over again in Novel form.

So make sure to hit your local Barnes & Noble on Tuesday, September 7th to get your own copy of the A Christmas Snow Novel. It is sure to be a Christmas favorite of yours for years to come.

Make sure you remember that the DVD will be available on October 8th at stores everywhere along with the book Restored – 11 Gifts to a Complete Life written by Tracy J Trost that follows Sam’s Journey. The movie stars Catherine Mary Stewart, Muse Watson, Anthony Tyler Quinn, and Cameron ten Napel.

Currently, we’re at Barnes & Noble in Little Rock, AR as we wait for another interview to start in an hour, this time with American Family Radio here in town before we head on to Memphis, TN and then Nashville on the – A Christmas Snow “Putting the Family back in Family Film” Publicity Tour. It’s been fun making new friends and meeting old ones as Tracy J Trost, his family, myself, and my family have traveled for more than 2,000 miles already visiting TV stations, Radio stations, and Reporters around the country and sharing the message of family, forgiveness, and faith.

If you’ve missed our journey so far you can catch up here: ACS Tour with the map showing our stops and what we’ve been up to, videos from the road, and if you’re on facebook you can even leave a comment for us right on the page.

Along the way we’ve made our office in the RVs, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, and the Great Outdoors. We’ve heard great things from those who have seen the film along the way and to us, that’s what this is all about: Sharing an entertaining story that inspires you and your family to embrace a lifestyle of forgiveness. I wanted to share a couple of the great reviews we’ve received:

Just watched the movie with my 6 year old. We were in awe! My daughter looked at me with tears streaming down her face and said, “Mr. Tracy makes really good movies.” As I put her to bed, she prayed and asked God to help her heart to always forgive! HOW AWESOME is that??? – Marcy B, via the A Christmas Snow Facebook Page

What an awesome movie. I would rate it as one of my favorite all time movies. A great story line, coupled with great actors and actresses, and an ending that makes you really think about your priorities and your family relationships. Great job and I would recommend this movie to everyone. I believe this is destined to be a hit movie on the big screen. Loved it. – Jeff R., via the A Christmas Snow website

Wow, we’re speechless. To hear the effect of the film on a 6 year old like that is such an amazing story, and is really how we measure the success of our films. Thank you to everyone who has watched A Christmas Snow and told your friends and family about it, you guys are the reason we’re doing this!

A Christmas Snow Director Tracy J Trost Begins Publicity Tour Kicks Off In Minneapolis July 22, 2010 Coming To A City Near You!!

Trost Moving Pictures Presents, Putting The “Family” Back in “Family Film” Promotional Tour

Tulsa, OK - With its release date of October 8 fast approaching director/writer Tracy J Trost is gearing up publicity and promotion for his second feature film, A Christmas Snow. Trost will embark on a publicity tour to promote the film that will kick off in Minneapolis on July 22 and end the first week in September. Actors Muse Watson, Catherine Mary Stewart and Cameron ten Napel will join Trost in select cities.

A Christmas Snow comes with a high profile, with Emmy Award – winning, co-producer Jim Stovall (The Ultimate Gift), producer Chad Gundersen (Midnight Clear, Like Dandelion Dust, The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry) and familiar – faces, Muse Watson, Catherine Mary Stewart, Anthony Tyler Quinn and new comer Cameron ten Napel, who all bring national audience appeal. Helmed by award winning director Tracy J Trost, A Christmas Snow is based on the script also co-written by Trost and filmed in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

A Christmas Snow is about forgiveness and redemption and the fragility of human emotions and how bonds, once broken, can be mended.

Get updates on which cities Tracy J Trost will be in by becoming a Trost Moving Pictures INsider @ www.AChristmasSnow.com or joining us on Facebook @ facebook.com/AChristmasSnow

Trost will be traveling with his family and Trost Moving Pictures Director of Marketing, Joe Jestus and his family in two separate RVs. When asked about the trip, Jestus responded, “As filmmakers we know that having a powerful story and telling it well is the first step, but letting people know about it is just as important, which is why we wanted to do the trip in the first place. But at the same time, we knew we needed to make sure we weren’t neglecting our families, after all we are making family films. So Tracy and I decided to bring them with and make an adventure out of it, we’ll be traveling over thousands of miles in 4 weeks with 7 kids ranging in ages from 16 – 7 months, it’s going to be a blast!”

If you are in the following cities and are interested in booking Tracy to come speak and/or a screening for your church or local theater on a weekend, please contact Joe Jestus @ media@trostmovingpictures.com

First off, I want to thank the hundreds of ICRS attendees who came by Tuesday night to see the 2nd Public Screening of A Christmas Snow starring Catherine Mary Stewart, Muse Watson, Cameron ten Napel, and Anthony Tyler Quinn. It was great to see you all there and to watch the film with you.

For Tracy J Trost the director of the film and myself it was an interesting time. We are proud of the work that everyone did in making A Christmas Snow. The cast and crew were incredible and they have worked together to make a wonderful and heartwarming family Christmas film. At the same time, it’s always a bit nerve racking to share it with others. The big difference at ICRS too, was that it was screening for the first time to people who really weren’t connected to us or the project in any way. Our first screening was with the crew, family, friends, and fans of the cast and while it’s always good to get great reviews from those groups you still wonder what a crowd of strangers would say.

With that said, Tracy took the stage, loosened up the crowd a little, gave away a screener copy, and then the lights went down. The movie started and it looked amazing on the big screen, a testament to the thousands of hours of work the crew put into making it. I probably watched the crowd more than the film and as time passed, the laughs started, and to our surprise even more laughs. The audience laughed more than at our first screening, we were relieved.

If you were following us on twitter at: twitter.com/TMPics you would have gotten the update about whether or not I should tell them the tears will start soon. I didn’t tell them… and they started. I watched as person after person began to wipe tears from their eyes as the movie came to a close. It was an incredible feeling and such a wonderful experience. I wish you could have all been there.

For us at Trost Moving Pictures our goal is simple, I’m looking forward to the emails, tweets, posts, and letters from those who have seen A Christmas Snow and were so moved, that this Christmas they contacted their mom, dad, daughter, son, brother, sister, or whoever and made an effort to restore a relationship that was previously lost. It’s not about sales or charts (although those can be nice), for us… for me… my number one goal is a book of stories, of lives changed and families, friends, and relationships restored. I hope you will join with us on this adventure and I thank you for coming with us already so far.

With hope for a Very Merry Christmas,

Joe Jestus – Trost Moving Pictures

I’m writing this post from 20,000 feet in the air on Southwest Airlines Flight #455, so where are we headed now?

Co-writer and Director Tracy J Trost and myself are headed to the 2010 ICRS in St. Louis, MO where we will be screening “A Christmas Snow” for the second time publicly. The first screening at the Gideon Media Arts Conference & Film Festival in North Carolina at the beginning of the month was a huge success. But now we’ve tweaked the film a bit more and we’re hoping for another great reception at the International Christian Retailers Show later today.

It’s always a bit nerve racking, as you never know how your film will be received but based on the reviews we’ve already received from those who have seen it, we’re confident that we have an entertaining and inspiring film.

And that’s our goal here at Trost Moving Pictures, to entertain and inspire audiences with our family friendly films and we hope “A Christmas Snow” will be doing that for years to come as families add it to their Christmas movie favorites list.

Stay tuned on facebook at: facebook.com/aChristmasSnow and we’ll let you know how the screening goes.

You can also follow us on twitter at: twitter.com/TMPics

Thanks for your time and support, it’s greatly appreciated!
