The Screener is Done!

The Screener is Done!

After thousands of hours put in by our incredible cast and crew, we are proud to say, the Screener of A Christmas Snow is done! We’ll make a few more tweaks before the final retail DVD, but for those of you attending the Gideon Film Festival later this week, A Christmas Snow is ready to go.

Late Saturday night or actually Sunday morning, from 2AM – 4AM Tracy J Trost and myself sat in the edit suite and watched this beautiful story all the way through from beginning to end for the first time with color, sound, graphics, and music all complete.

I wanted to give a big thank you to Randy Stuehm our DP and Editor for the long hours he put in editing and coloring the film. I also want to thank Jason Moore who wrote an incredible score for this film. Everyone who took part in this project should be very proud and I can’t wait to share it with those of you who will see it for the first time at the Gideon next Sunday, June 6th.

Thank you again to everyone and to all our fans for your support and for spreading the word about A Christmas Snow.

With much Gratitude – Joe Jestus

This sounds like you are going straight to DVD. Looks like a good project cable outlets like Hallmark or a Family channel. Does a straight to DVD release preclude other possible distribution outlets? Or is straight to DVD more cost effective and profitable? Just curious. Obviously you guys know what you’re dong and I’m trying to get a handle on the marketing strategy.

Hey Tommy, we are going straight to DVD as it is more cost effective for us at this point. However, this doesn’t preclude us from going to a Hallmark or ABC Family, which is exactly what we are working on right now. Thanks for your support and the question. (Joe Jestus – TMP)
